Strategy to Secure and Cultivate KOL Equity
MMSG first assesses the client’s objectives and opportunities by focusing on their current strategy and relationships. Next, a target group of national KOLs are identified and vetted to align with the strategic needs of the client. Following that, emphasis is put on identifying ways to further broaden the base of regional and local KOL experts/advocates within the specific specialty market. During all stages of this strategic process, MMSG ensures that the resources allocated to each portion are divided across advantageous opportunities in a way that provides optimal return for the client.
Next, MMSG reviews the overall strategy created in tandem with the client and creates a comprehensive plan to accomplish the previously determined goals. The two areas of focus are the advancement of relationships between the company’s associates and KOLs/societies, and the optimization of the knowledge transfer of brand messaging and the client’s products. All portions of the action plan, including approaches, investments, and planned execution, are reviewed and analyzed to ensure that resources are being used optimally and will provide the client with maximum value.

Sam Patel, RPh, MBA
Sam Patel brings over 25 years of varied experience in the healthcare industry. After 16 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Sam decided to test his entrepreneur skills, when he founded Medical Marketing Solutions Group (MMSG), located in Somerset, New Jersey. As CEO and Founder of the company, Sam oversees the day-to-day operations for the company and makes himself available to all of MMSG’s clients.
As Vice President, Chris Cognetti is a member of MMSG’s senior leadership team with shared management, oversight, and responsibility for agency strategy, operations, and business development. With more than 2 decades of leadership, marketing, training, and sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Chris uses his dual agency and industry background to manage MMSG’s daily team operations and provide clients with strategic recommendations to achieve their goals.
John Robinson has been affiliated with MMSG since 2012. As Executive Director of Operations, he is responsible for the effective and successful delivery of the medical and promotional programs that MMSG offers. John defines, communicates, and measures key goals and expectations for all program operations. John’s experience in hospitality and program management spans over 20 years, 16 within the medical education forum.
Megan K. Hall, MS
Megan K. Hall joined MMSG in 2017. As Senior Director of Medical Strategy, she uses her deep foundation of scientific knowledge, expertise for commercialization strategy, and insight of customer and technology solutions to create engaging content, such as medical education, promotional materials, core claim documents, market research stimulus, and competitive analysis reports, for payer, healthcare provider, and patient audiences.
